Laser Hair Removal Chapel Allerton – Common Questions Answered
How does it work?
A concentrated beam of light is aimed at hair. The light is absorbed by the pigment, which damages the follicle enough to retard future growth. The gradual heating method effectively damages the hair follicles while avoiding injury to the surrounding skin. The sweeping In-motion delivery technique keeps the laser in constant motion ensuring full coverage.
Is it safe?
The Harmony XL Pro™ SHR system is clinically proven to be both safe and effective.
Is the treatment suitable for all?
SHR can be used on all skin types and treatment is suitable for most people dependent on hair colour. However, prior to treatment a free consultation is carried out during which a medical history is taken to confirm suitability for treatment. You will be asked to give informed consent and a small test patch will be carried out at least 24 hours prior to your first session. (£25 charge for test patch)
